HedgePlatform Community welcomes hedge funds using RiskManager™

Hedge funds who license RiskManager are now invited to leverage the HedgePlatform Community at no additional charge to report to a growing list of the world's largest hedge fund investors who trust RiskMetrics for their risk management needs.

Reporting through the HedgePlatform Community allows hedge funds to provide the risk information they trust, to investors they choose, at a level of granularity and frequency they are comfortable with. In addition, the risk information is provided to investors in the most useful way for aggregation across an investor's entire portfolio, including their hedge fund investments.

One example of leveraging the HegePlatform Community is to include a hedge fund's RML in an investor's report but limit the level of granularity in the report. A second example is to include a hedge fund's RML as a Restricted Portfolio in an investor's RiskManager account and limit the level of granularity according to the hedge fund's comfort. A third example is for a hedge fund to share their fund-level simulated returns for use in an investor's Portfolio Pilot account for asset allocation, portfolio construction, and optimization.

These are just a few examples of the ways a hedge fund can leverage the HedgePlatform Community for investor reporting.
